"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord!"

- Ephesians 5:19

IV. Testament

(Gospel & Epistle)

Mark 1

When John baptized Jesus, the sky tore apart.
The Spirit descended. God spoke from the heart:
“This is my son with whom I am pleased”
The kingdom has come. Be new and believe.

At once he was sent out for forty dry days
Where Satan tempted with his wily ways.
Relentless the test, fierce forces contend
Yet no harm befalls where angels attend

1 Peter 3

This Christ who was sent to show us the way
Arose like a dove, new life to convey
Through the deepest of waters, the flood of our sin
Christ is our ark! And we are called to refuge within

R

And these are the signs that the Kingdom is near

God’s Spirit penetrates our sphere

God’s Christ becomes the new bond with us

To carry us through as we give Him our trust.
